Crafted from sulfur powder, this block is very fragile, but emits light. It functions as any other block and so can be placed on ceilings and even under water, making it a more functional light source over torches.
Though it takes 9 powders to make a block, breaking a block only yields a return of 1. The block gives off a 'warm' light, which melts ice and snow in the same manner as torches.
Breaking this block plays the 'smashing glass' sound.

its not Brimstone! its lightstone
I taught it was glowstone. Now I'm confused first lightstone,
than glowstone and now brimstone.
its glow stone and kill it with a diamond pick and you get 1-3 back and you need a tiny block a 2 by 2 of stinking glow stone dust
its glowstone
If you can get to the Nether, it really doesnt matter if you accidentally smash one, there's enough down there to light it up. BTW(It can be lightstone/glowstone) Ive never heard Brimstone before.
