Zombies are the fastest mobs in the game. If you think they appear to be navigating objects to get to you, which is pretty smart stuff for a zombie, you'd be right.

They also usually spawn in groups. Groups of fast zombies that chase you down!

Run! RUN while you still can!!

I thought spiders were faster than zombies?
They also dress funny... reminds me of my default skin... OMG WILL I TURN INTO ZOMBEH IF I STICK TO DEFAULT??!
