November Website Update
We at Minecraft Workbench have been hinting at some major updates to the site for a couple weeks now. As you can see the wait is now over! The changes you see on the site today are heavily inspired from our community members, so first and foremost, we want to thank you for your excellent positive feedback.
The improvements to the site were aimed at allowing for more advanced functionality and usability, while also raising the bar a bit on our visual appeal.
To start things off, we have changed our hosting company and moved everything to more powerful, and scalable dedicated servers! The new servers are extremely scalable for expandability as performance needs demand it. We will be monitoring the site and it's performance to gage what adjustments will need to be made and upgrading as needed. Please bare with us during this first couple of weeks as we make minor tweaks to both the hardware and site itself to accommodated any performance issues that may arise following this initial launch.
This update brings you our new user content submission BETA! Under the new submission system you will be able to submit your content, as before, but in a much easier to use and understand setting. The new system will also do a lot more on the backend to help us get your submissions up and live on the site much quicker than ever before, and it will provide you with an interface to view, edit, and overall manage your submissions after they have gone live. The new submission system also opens the way for our new "Developer Accounts" in the near future. Developer accounts will work much like the content submission system but with some... enhanced privileges. We don't want to give too much away just yet, but some of the benefits those accepted for Developer Accounts will enjoy are:
- Instant publications for your submissions.
- Enhanced options when submitting and managing your submissions.
- Visual medal on your account that marks you as an accepted content developer anywhere you interact with the site and it's community.
- Premier download spots to show off your creations and more!
We are happy to announce the launch of our language translation feature. On the bottom of each page (with a few pages having more approriate locations depending on page needs) you will now find a section labeled "Translate this page". You can choose a language from the list here and it will immediatly translate the entire page you are on into that language. At launch we have only enabled active translations for 6 languages from the more common areas that our members are from.

We hope that you enjoy this update and the enhancements it brings. We are already hard at work on future enhancements, but will be focusing primarily on monitoring and fixing / adjusting any issues that come about after this release.
